Can We Trust the News We See and Hear?

FAKE NEWS!

This is a term coined by our President Donald Trump throughout the campaign and is still parroted today by both Trump and the news media.

In fact, President Trump has since doubled down on the fake news media calling them the enemy of the people. This truly struck an accord with the already spiteful talking heads at outlets like CNN, MSNBC, NBC, and ABC as people seem to be waking up to obviously bias reporting each of these organizations produces. There is an obvious bias when it comes to their reporting as the vast majority of what they report is negative and largely circumstantial with no real definitive basis to their logic.

Even the Washington Times reported on the obvious bias in the media when it comes to reporting on the accomplishments of our President Donald Trump…

It has been a pattern since President Trump was inaugurated well over a year ago. Coverage of the White House on the “Big Three” broadcast networks — ABC, CBS, and NBC — remains 91 percent negative, according to a new study by the Media Research Center, which has been tracking the phenomenon since Mr. Trump hit the campaign trail in 2016.

It was over 90 percent hostile then — and remains so now. The trend is unprecedented, according to the analysis.

If the countless articles and reports of the vastly negative media coverage our President has received throughout his time in office isn’t enough, a Harvard study shows just how the media has covered Trump since his inauguration.

When the “free press” gathers together to call for a war on the Trump administration because they feel he is too critical of them it is important we look at things from a 30,000-foot view and realize that the majority of the coverage the Trump administration has received has been largely negative.  It’s time the those that call themselves “news” outlets start reporting news rather than simply feed us their biased opinions.
