Why Doesn’t Tara Reade Deserve To Be Heard?

Does Tara Reade deserve to be heard? In light of recent allegations against Joe Biden there has been nothing but silence from the MeToo group and Democrats.

The MeToo movement founded in 2006 has been all about believing “all women” who come forward with sexual assault allegations. That is of course unless your name is Bill Clinton, Virginia Lt Governor Justin Fairfax, or U.S. Representative Katie Hill just to name a few. Now we can add Joe Biden to that long list of alleged perpetrators of sexual assault.

While we have been told by many in the MeToo movement and Democrats alike that all women deserve to be heard—the question remains as to whether or not the same applies to Joe Biden’s accuser Tara Reade.

Democrats Face MeToo Backlash

Since the inception of the MeToo movement back in 2006 the idea has been that all women deserve to be heard. In the case of Democrat Senator Mazie Hirono from Hawaii—they don’t just deserve to be heard, they deserve to be believed. Men should “shut up and step up” as she so eloquently put it to demand an FBI investigation into SCOTUS nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

This all took place despite the FACT that his accuser Christine Blasey Ford brought forth no corroborating evidence that gave merit to an investigation. Nonetheless, Hirono and her Democrat colleagues demanded investigation after investigation. They were going to get to the bottom of the alleged misdoings at college parties that included the heinous accusations of gang rape.

This man literally had his entire life put on display to the general public. His name was dragged through the mud. His family was tortured for weeks if not months with endless allegations and new accusations. All of this was done in an effort to besmear him to keep him from being nominated to the Supreme Court.

Furthermore, this crusade to crucify Kavanaugh was inspired by the MeToo movement whose alleged purpose is to equally bring to light sexual assault allegations regardless of party or political affiliation.

Silence Around Tara Reade Accusations is Deafening

Not only are we dealing with a double standard here when it comes to the entire MeToo movement, but we are also watching as Democrats as a whole completely ignore the Biden accuser entirely. The Daily Caller attempted to reach out to each of the current Democrat Senators to get a statement on the accusations and received no feedback.

This is all taking place amidst the recent discovery of the transcript obtained by the Intercept. This transcript refers to Reade speaking on Larry King Live in 1993. The conversation entailed issues her daughter had with a then “prominent senator” in Washington.
