Question Everything
Should a Myanmar-like coup happen here in the United States? Former Trump adviser Michael Flynn seems to think so according to a recent statement.
This statement is said to have happened at what some are calling a “QAnon” conference in Dallas. In case you aren’t already aware “Q” or “QAnon” has been an obsession of many on the left for quite some time now.
QAnon is what many call a secretive group that has been leaking out information from within the Trump presidency. This intel has in fact proven to be true in some circumstances and is very critical of the 2020 election.
Michael Flynn, an ex-Trump adviser, has spoken references to Q and recently said that a Myanmar-like coup ‘should happen’ here in the United States.

According to MarketWatch:
Former national security adviser Michael Flynn said over the weekend that a Myanmar-like coup — in which the military overthrew a democratically elected government — “should happen” in the U.S.
Appearing in Dallas at a QAnon conference, Flynn was asked during a Q&A session that was shared in a Twitter video: “I want to know why what happened in Myanmar can’t happen here?”
After cheers from the crowd died down, Flynn responded: “No reason. I mean, it should happen here.”
Myanmar’s military seized power Feb. 1 and imprisoned the country’s democratically elected leaders, on the basis of unproven allegations of voter fraud. At least 800 civilians have died, and thousands have been arrested, in protests that have wracked the Southeast Asian nation in the months that followed.
Supporters of the QAnon conspiracy theory have praised the Myanmar coup and called for the U.S. military to do the same, citing unsubstantiated claims of election fraud.
Flynn, a former Army general, was fired by President Donald Trump in 2017 after less than a month as his national security adviser, after it was revealed that he had lied to Vice President Mike Pence. After pleading guilty to making false statements to the FBI during the Mueller investigation, Flynn moved to withdraw his plea and the Justice Department dropped charges against him. A federal judge ruled the matter be placed on hold, but Trump pardoned Flynn last November before a ruling on whether the Justice Department could drop the criminal case against him.
Of course many on the left are apoplectic over this statement by retired United States Army lieutenant Michael Flynn. Some even want “action” to be taken against him. The question is what action could be taken against an American citizen calling into question the election. After all, that is why inspired the coup in Myanmar. The citizenry rose up after what amounted to a corrupt election in their country.
Is that not what we are facing here in the United States. More and more counties across the country are calling into question the voting procedures that took place during the 2020 election.
Of course, that is constantly written off as “conspiracy theory”.
However, the left is still waging an all-out war against Flynn!
According to MSN News:
Lawmakers have criticized former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn after he appeared to say that a Myanmar-like military coup “should happen” in the United States.
A handful of Republicans and Democrats hit out at the retired U.S. Army lieutenant general over the holiday weekend, with one calling for “action” to be taken against the former Trump administration official.
GOP lawmakers on the so-called “moderate” wing of the party said it was wrong of Flynn to indicate support for the “overthrow” of the U.S. government, and argued that any fantasies of a coup would be “ended quickly.”
“To those begging for a military coup: you will be shocked when the military arrests you under the ‘and domestic’ part of the oath,” Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) tweeted on Monday night. “Your fantasy will be ended quickly.”
Earlier in the day, he posted a news story about Flynn’s remarks and promised that Americans would “defend our constitution.”
Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY), an anti-Trump Republican who was ousted as the House GOP Conference chair last month, tweeted: “No American should advocate or support the violent overthrow of the United States.”
Speaking to CNN’s Anderson Cooper on Monday, Rep. Elaine (D-VA) questioned whether Flynn should be receiving any benefits from his retirement as a U.S. Army lieutenant general in light of his remarks.
