Law Abiding Citizens Caught in Standoff with Mass. Police on I95

Mainstream media is reporting an incident on the morning of Saturday, July 3rd in which law-abiding citizens were caught in a standoff with Mass. police.

This encounter was quickly reported by the mainstream media as a standoff with military-minded anti-government individuals. Before any of the facts were known the narrative had to be set that these were some conspiracy-minded anti-government people in possession of firearms they shouldn’t be allowed to have.

The irony here is that one of those involved with this encounter with police appears to be a black man according to the video posted to YouTube.

In this video, he claims to be live streaming and provides a first-hand account of just what went on during this standoff.

In this video, the man provides viewers with their exact location on route I95 in Massachusetts. He also explains they are not extremists of any kind.

Furthermore, he explains they are abiding by both constitutional law as well as case law in their actions.

As I stated before, the mainstream media sees things quite differently. Nearly immediately they reported this event as a group of anti-government rebels fighting with police.

NBC News reported:

A group of heavily-armed men are engaged in an ongoing standoff Saturday with Massachusetts police, prompting shelter-in-place orders in some areas and sparking massive delays on the holiday weekend as a portion of Interstate 95 remains shut down.

The standoff began around 2 a.m. when police noticed two cars pulled over on I-95 with hazard lights on, authorities said at a Saturday press briefing.

Between eight to 10 men were clad in military-style gear with long guns and pistols, Massachusetts State Police Col. Christopher Mason said.

The men refused to put down their weapons or comply with authorities’ orders, claiming to be from a group “that does not recognize our laws,” police said. They took off into a wooded area, where two men have been arrested.

Officials are using negotiators to interact with the other suspects.

“Time is our ally in this and we will certainly utilize this,” Mason said.

The standoff shut down part of I-95 in Wakefield in both directions, prompting heavy traffic as people hit the road for the Fourth of July weekend.

In Massachusetts, Interstate 95 runs from the Rhode Island line, around Boston to the New Hampshire line. Wakefield is just east of where Interstate 95 and 93 meet north of Boston.

According to police, these men involved in the standoff were considered ‘armed and dangerous’. A shelter in place order was even issued for surrounding areas.

After hearing this news it becomes necessary to put this into perspective with what is going on around the country.

We have watched as armed militant groups aka antifa and black lives matter have amassed arms and burned down cities across the country.

Throughout those riots and the looting that ensued, we were told they were otherwise peaceful protests.

MSNBC's Ali Velshi now has competition for the most ridiculous riot "reporting."

The Hill reported on the hypocritical reporting during the antifa riots:

CNN was ridiculed  for a video caption Wednesday night that read “Fiery But Mostly Peaceful Protests After Police Shooting” during a report from national correspondent Omar Jimenez in front of a building engulfed in flames during protests over the shooting of Jacob Blake in Kenosha, Wis.

Jimenez reported that the daylight protests “were largely peaceful,” but the situation quickly changed at night.

“What you are seeing now, these images, came and come in stark contrast to what we saw over the course of the daytime hours in Kenosha and into the early evening, which were largely peaceful demonstrations in the face of law enforcement,” Jimenez said.

“It wasn’t until nightfall that things began to get a little bit more contentious. Thing were thrown back and forth; police started using some of those crowd dispersal tactics like tear gas, even playing very loud sounds to push……..
