Obama vs. Chappelle: The two go head-to-head at the Grammys

The 64th Grammy Awards will see former President Barack Obama take on comedian Dave Chappelle for the prize for the Best Spoken Word Album.

Both the 44th president and comedian received nominations in the category, according to a Tuesday announcement.

Obama received his nomination for A Promised Land, and Chappelle’s Netflix special focusing on George Floyd, titled 8:46, earned the comedian his nod, the announcement said.

The category’s other nominees include Don Cheadle, LeVar Burton, and J. Ivy.

Obama has won two Grammy Awards, and Chappelle has three.
