BREAKING: Widespread Damage Reported After 7.7M Earthquake Strikes Turkey
TURKEY – An earthquake measuring 7.7 on the Richter scale hit a depth of 10 kilometers (6.2 miles) with its epicenter located near Gaziantep, Turkey Sunday, according to local officials.
The earthquake occurred approximately 30 kilometers west-northwest of Gaziantep and 114 kilometers north-northwest of Aleppo, Syria, according to EMSC-CSEM. Residents in surrounding countries also reported feeling the quake.
Video posted to social media purportedly showed collapsed buildings.

There was immediate confirmation on possible injuries or fatalities.
