Cracker Barrel is offering free food for a year for Valentine’s Day proposals

The restaurant chain has announced a romantic new venture for Valentine’s Day.
Cracker Barrel is offering a lucky five couples the chance to get free food for year if they propose at the restaurant, according to its website.

Couples have to post their proposal video at Cracker Barrel on their Instagram account between Feb. 10-16 and list in the caption “why they decided to propose at the iconic restaurant.”
Cracker Barrel clarified that the video has to be publicly viewable on Instagram and applicants should tag @crackerbarrel while including the hashtags #ISaidYesAtCrackerBarrel and #Contest.
The five winning couples will receive free Cracker Barrel for a year.
Social media users are already gaming out their “fake proposals” for free food.
“Want to do a fake proposal with me and try to win some free Cracker Barrel?” one social media user wrote to his friends.
Others on social media have snarked about the location for the proposal.

“The catch is they must get engaged at Cracker Barrel,” joked one woman on Twitter.
The restaurant offers other Valentine’s Day deals for the already betrothed or commitment-weary. Customers can dine at their restaurant from February 10-14 and enjoy a free dessert with select entrées.
