Gov. Ron DeSantis’s (R-FL) website crashed in various regions around the world on Thursday. The crash came one day after his presidential campaign announcement on Twitter Spaces crashed.
DeSantis announced his campaign on Wednesday in a Twitter Space, but his announcement was repeatedly delayed when the number of listeners appeared to overwhelm the server and eventually crash it. DeSantis’s rivals, including former President Donald Trump and President Joe Biden, capitalized on the slip-up.

On Thursday, the DeSantis campaign was plagued by another technical mishap: DeSantis’s website experienced global outages.
The governor and presidential hopeful’s website crashed in a range of countries, including Russia, Bulgaria, Brazil, and part of the United States, according to Check Host. It also crashed in the three destinations of DeSantis’s recent foreign tour: Japan, the United Kingdom, and Israel.
The outages were credited to a server error.
