According to Keith Olberman: “2nd Amendment Doesn’t Authorize Gun Ownership”

Maybe Keith Olberman should have stuck with sports reporting for ESPN given his demented take on our constitution and his idea that the 2nd amendment doesn’t allow us to own guns.

Keith Olberman’s most recent rant is in reference to the stash of guns, ammo, and body armor found in a Denver hotel room not far from where the MLB All-Star Game was being held.

NEW VIDEO: Whether or not you’re going to watch tonight’s baseball All-Star Game, consider that they may have broken up a planned mass shooting there. And ask yourself: why doesn’t the 2nd Amendment have the word ‘own’ in it? The 2nd Amendment does NOT authorize gun OWNERSHIP,” he exclaimed on Twitter.

While this incident is frightening, it doesn’t mitigate or somehow lessen our rights. Especially the 2nd amendment right to “keep and bear arms”.

We can go back and forth debating the verbiage of this amendment. At the end of the day, it is our right as Americans to keep and bear arms and it is explicitly stated that right shall not be infringed.

It’s ironic that the constitutional scholar Olberman forgot to mention that little tidbit in his rant.

Furthermore, if Keith Olberman is so adamant about the government infringing on our 2nd amendment right. Maybe he should lead by example and remove any and all firearms from his security staff.

The left constantly plays semantics when it comes to our constitutional rights.

They debate amendments that protest free speech and the right to bear arms saying these rights are arbitrary. Like the idea that we can’t yell fire in a crowded theater which has been debunked time and time again.

All the while, they use the constitution to their advantage when it suits their current social justice warrior cause.

Take for example the George Floyd riots.

According to the left, you can’t yell fire in a crowded theater but at the same time, the right to free speech and freedom of expression includes your right to burn that theater down.

Bottom line, you can’t be a liberal without first being a hypocrite!
